Tea from Grandma’s Heart

A friend I met in San Francisco introduced me to her friend, who was building a Korean craft tea brand and was looking for graphic design support. I was intrigued by his mission to bring Korean tea to its rightful place on the global stage while honoring the people and culture at its heart. Our partnership began, and I’ve supported the company by helping to establish the brand logo and other visual assets, as well as shaping the user experience for a tea tasting booth at the International Tea Fair at the Ferry Building.

The circular red mark is a dojang, a traditional Korean seal used to mark personal or business identity. For us, it symbolizes a promise. The Hangul inside reads 할머니 마음 차 (halmoni ma-eum cha), which means “tea from grandma’s heart.”
